Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., outdoors in Saint Moritz, Switzerland, in 1939. The following is handwritten on the verso of the photographic postcard, presumably by John F. Kennedy: “Joe at Switzerland - 1939.” A brownish residue covers most of the verso of the photographic postcard. This photograph is currently held in the Kennedy Family Collection and is un-numbered. It is not known if this is the photograph that was originally held in the Personal Papers subcollection of the Papers of John F. Kennedy or if it is a duplicate.
